ARREST ALL CHINESE INVOLVED IN ILLEGAL MINNING

Galamsey fight: Jail all Chinese involved - Atik Mohammed to government. Atik Mohammed has called on government to intensify the sanctions against illegal miners, particularly the foreigners involved. Illegal mining (galamsey) is a headache to the nation; for years, little has been done to end this menace. As part of President Nana Akufo-Addo's measures to end the menace, two hundred (200) soldiers have been deployed with an instruction to remove all persons engaged in galamsey. A statement by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Wednesday read ''in furtherance of the resolutions of the final communique, of the Stakeholder Dialogue on Small Scale Mining on April 14 -15, 2021 and to ensure that mining within water bodies is immediately stopped; the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has authorized the Ghana Armed Forces, to commence an operation, to remove all persons and logistics involved in mining from Ghana’s water bodies. JUST IN: GOVERNMENT HAS SECURED 45,000,000 EUROS TO UPGRADE NAFTI

 The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo's Danquah Akuffo Addo has confirmed that the government has secured an amount of fourth five million euros (45,000,000) to upgrade the National Film Training Institute to be able to lift the face and capacity of the institute for more people to venture into the filming industry.  The president added again that the institute will soon begin to award it's own degree so that it will build the interest of many to take up this duty, especially where his government will soon finish the creative arts secondary school located at Kwadaso - Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana.  The president said this at the launch in Accra.

SOD CUTTING AND CONSTRUCTION OF SPECIAL PURPOSE WARD

 The member of parliament for the people of Bortianor Ngleshie Amamfro constituency Hon. Sylvester Tetteh has cut the sod for the construction of a special purpose ward facility for Amanfro polyclinic which is the GA SOUTH District health directorate at the GA SOUTH District in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. At the ceremony on the 20th April, 2021, honourable Sylvester Tetteh gave his firm assurance and pledged his support for the facility any time as long as he is the MP for the constituency and he added that this facility which will completed very soon on schedule is one of the numerous projects that he will undertake so that the Amanfro polyclinic will be raised to it's befitting status as a health directorate.  The project will comprise of male and female wards,  waiting room, reception and an ambulance station will enable an ambulance to be stationed at the facility and attend to emergency cases on time.  The people of the constituency said that if the honou...

Some telco staff involved in MoMo robberies – Police

  Some staff of telcos in the country are involved in the rampant robberies of Mobile Money agents across the country, the Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Supt. Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman has revealed. According to her, investigations conducted into Mobile Money robberies have led to some staff of telcos and people close to the MOMO agents. “There have been cases where we have traced suspects to the staff of Telcos and people who live around them,” Supt. Abayie-Buckman said on Morning Starr on Tuesday. Several Mobile Money agents have been the target of armed robbers in recent weeks across the country. Last week, heavily armed men attacked an agent in Bantama in Kumasi and made away with over Ghc200,000. Over the weekend another agent was robbed at Klagon in Accra in broad daylight with an estimated sum of 2,000 cedis stolen.  *NABTAG* National President under threats and attacks over his unbridled commitment.  "The persistent threats and attacks cannot discourage me from working in the interest of trainees' welfare (of which the permanent employment for eligible Trainees pursuit currently stands tall). He has the conviction that no man can take his life because he has devoted his time and life to ensure that all current NABCO trainees who are eligible will be get permanent employment as the current government is still working on.  The national president of Nabco trainees association of Ghana (NABTAG) who is in the person of Dennis Okatekyie has been under several attacks and threats from opposers of the NABCO initiative by the current president nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and so due to his enormous contributions to ensuring the welfare of the personnel under the NABCO program, Dennis Okatekyie's life has been under death threats and attacks to take his life. crpblogger will be bring out subsequent information about the progress of this case as and when new developments comes up  for our cherished readers.
